A period dramedy set in the 80s when the train was the only means of transport between the villages and cities in Ghana. A couple is bent on delivering their first baby in Akete, the home of the baby’s maternal grandmother. After missing their train, they are stranded in the middle of nowhere. With the baby almost due, they decide to continue their journey on foot to the next station to catch the next train. In this unusual road-trip film, our fateful couple experience a series of dubious encounters that forces them to be each other’s source of strength and wise counsel or risk losing their unborn child.
