Experimental short film that brings together science, poetry and environmental culture. Endorsed by the National Science and Technology Council, as well as by National Science Prize Laureate Dr. Lourival Possani, Ponzoña contains beautiful nocturnal shots of the desert and jungle in order to create an air of mystery around its main character: the scorpion. Playfully turning scientific data into metaphor, Ponzoña utilizes an audiovisual narrative focused on an introspective vision of nature and the universe. (Guadalajara International Film Festival)
