Kristina lives in clover. Her fiancé Nikolay is heir to a large fortune, while she herself holds a good position in a major advertising agency. Everything seems perfect, except that Kristina is about to turn thirty, a landmark birthday that she is awaiting with trepidation after an old fortune-teller predicted that luck would be Kristina's companion for the rest of her life if she was still successful in her career by her thirtieth birthday - if not she would live out the rest of her life lonely and poor. The fortune-teller had given Kristina a locket to protect her from life's misfortunes, but as fate would have it, Sergey, her clumsy work colleague, accidentally breaks her lucky charm whereupon Kristina's wonderful life suddenly begins to go downhill. She messes up a project at work and then discovers her fiancé with another woman. To survive her sudden change of fortune, Kristina will have to come to understand that her nearest and dearest are more important than mystical predictions and magical charms. (Star Media)
