English Miner learned from the mistakes he made like a little schoolboy in the second installment, and his only weakness in this film is his lack of control over the pace (the protracted opening, the drawn-out ending). Jason finally puts on the goalie mask and also finally lives up to the legends that surround him. The kills are spectacular, even almost an exhibition (the harpoon), but the script prescribed a kill list in a predictable package, which in the end (along with the annoying epilogue) forces me to give it a less-than-perfect rating. English What cannot be denied about the movie "Friday the 13th Part III" is the one privilege that it hides here. It is a privilege within the series, which is the fact that Jason puts on a goalie mask for the first time here, which he then wears throughout the rest of the series, and which finally made him truly iconic and easily memorable. However, this might be the only reason why it is worth mentioning this film within the series. That is quite a shame. ()
