The documentary The House Dedicated to Dreams presents the National Technical Museum in Prague as one of the most important cultural, architectural and first and foremost national monuments in the Czech Republic. This is not a documentary, however, about the history and exhibitions which can be found in the museum. David Vavra, the editor and active reporter, first shows the audience around Prague and then around the museum complex in an amusing but at the same time educational way. The audience can thus see a number of old inventions, unique items and vehicles and also explore specially adapted themed exhibition areas. Among these, an audiovisual tour in a mine or a walk among locomotives put out of operation in the depositories of the city of Chomutov can be mentioned as an example of an unique experience. You will also have the opportunity to see Emil the Robot, the protagonist of a retro TV series, or drive through the streets and across the bridges of Prague in a car of the Walter company production.
