Love Beats

When he returns for his brother’s wedding after years away from his hometown in Spain, Edu, a young musician living in London, experiences a sense of strangeness and nostalgia, leaving him feeling like he’s on the outside looking in. His monotonous life in dreary London fades into the background though, as he reunites with friends and family, especially his secret crush Alicia – his best friend’s girlfriend – bringing out feelings he thought he had long gotten over. With music as a common denominator, Love Beats is a feel-good, coming-of-age movie with tinges of a Linklater romance (Santa Barbara International Film Festival)
