Set in mid 1800's France, A Good Little Devil is the story of Charles, a mischievous 10-year-old orphan boy living with his wealthy older cousin, Léontine MacMiche. Madame MacMiche is a bitter old woman who hates children and is very quick to spank! Not entirely fond of having a red bottom all the time, Charles, with the help of the family maidservant, Betty, thinks of some pretty ingenious and clever ways of eluding Léontine. But fed up with his trouble making, Madame MacMiche sends Charles to an orphanage not too far from the French coast and threatens to take his $50,000 inheritance away if he doesn't shape up. Once confined to the orphanage, the castigation continues with almost daily discipline sessions. But what do you get when you put a devilish 10-year-old with a large group of frolicsome boys? Mayhem and chaos for not only the Headmaster of the orphanage, but for the entire town! Can Charles inject a little fun in an otherwise dull and dreary orphanage? He can as A Good Little Devil!
