When the son of Lorelei Mailer, (guest star Kristy Swanson) famous stripper-turned-model and widow of a 90-year-old billionaire, drops dead on a dance floor, Detectives Logan (Chris Noth) and Wheeler (Julianne Nicholson) question Lorelei and her companion Ronnie Chase (guest star David Cross). Just back from the hospital after having a baby girl, Lorelei is devastated by her son's death and mysteriously dies days later.
