In a world where people are dying for success, success is killing movie star Gray Evans (Giovanni Ribisi). Gray's crazy lifestyle, panty-throwing fans and celebrity stalker are driving him insane. His sexy actress wife, Mia (Franka Potente), is involved in a love scene of her own with fellow actor Stiev (Vince Vaughn), and is on more than first name terms with Elvis Costello. But then Gray faces temptation of his own in the shapely form of actress/model (Shalom Harlow). So where does an insecure celebrity run to find solace? To his number one fan, film student John (Joshua Jackson). He and his wife, Jane (Marisa Coughlan), remind Gray so much of himself back in those early years in LA with girlfriend, Shana (Christina Ricci), before the pressures of fame, fortune and million-dollar pay cheques. Obsessed with the young couple, Gray worms his way into their lives, hiring P.I., Yehud (Jared Harris), to spy on them and tape their every move. Soon they become the centre of his own movie-watching experience. In this zany world of stardom, where moving up means selling out, the fine line between fantasy and reality blurs into insignificance. Fan becomes star, stalked becomes stalker and life really is stranger than fiction. (MOVIEHOUSE Entertainment)
