Isabel and Antonio Condorcanqui are brother and sister who have been separated by the Chilean Dictatorship given the relationship they have with José Gabriel Condorcanqui or Tupac Amaru II, a revolutionary who supported the peasants against Spain. Military forces are in search of them afraid they continue the same ideals. Antonio is a present-day revolutionary who tries to follow Simon Bolivar’s doctrine of setting the pressed towns free. Isabel has been a victim of human trafficking at the hands of the Deep State. David Levin, an outstanding lawyer and Gloria Dolii Garcia, his assistant, defend Isabel so that so that she is not deported to her country of origin, Peru. (Dallas International Film Festival)
