The Sinful People of Prague

A cult affair and, in my opinion, the greatest detective series of all time. Why? For its wonderful atmosphere, for the kind and predatory look of Mr. Vacátek, for this beautiful panopticon of old Prague pickpockets, thieves, safe-crackers and murderers, for the beautiful, albeit how many times perceptible, cases. Sequens managed to create a beautiful atmosphere, which is adorned by the great acting performances of Marvan, Filipovský, Bláha and Vinklář. A series with a pure Czech soul. A classic. (22/02/2004)
