Noyo's a sleepy little place, where nothing much happens. So why are people being attacked and killed by THINGS that come out of the water? The answer involves pollution and mutated sea life that's developed a taste for death. Creatures that look like a cross between a frog and a man invade a peaceful fishing town. At first they kill the dogs, then a couple of little girls with developed breasts and towards the end they unleash carnage on the people celebrating at a fair. So yes, it's ineptly directed, acted and written, but I am not rating it Boo! because of my weakness for bad and unintentionally funny movies, the occasional gore moments, and for the final twenty minutes when there's really something to watch. PS: And the clumsy rip-offs of Jaws at the beginning and Alien at the very end are really funny.

At sound of familiar “underwater” music, an army of Creatures from the Black Lagoon (see the eponymous movie from 1954) attacks the redneck inhabitants of a small harbor town (there’s even a pub brawl) and violates hot, nubile babes (a lot of flashed nipples), who then give birth to their descendants Alien style. And there are also bloody gore effects, dead dogs and a toddler in a crib in danger. Had the town been enveloped by a thick fog, it would have been perfect.
