Marta and Jorge have been together for seven years. Everyone thinks they are a perfect couple. Too perfect, to everyone`s despair: to Bruno, much younger than Marta, but madly in love with her; to Lígia, Bruno’s sister and Marta’s best friend, who would love to see her brother happy; to Carlos, friend of Jorge, who, maintaining a superficial relationship with Ligia, secretly loves Marta; And to Jorge’s despair, himself, who is convinced that this love and Marta’s desire for marriage becomes his prison, decides then out of fear to throw Marta in Carlos’ arms.
