English A delicate study of two women brought together by fate who help each other in difficult life situations and change the negative attitude to the circumstances in which they find themselves. One might argue that this premise could have been part of a more complex story with a more interesting plot, but it is so psychologically accurate and so masterly performed that it is able to move viewers without any further adornment. All it needs is for the characters to talk, feel and react to each other. [Cannes] ()

English A subtle, intimate and gentle film about the power of motherhood and the changing relationship of two strong women who, in difficult conditions, hide their suffering through persistent hard work and help each other to achieve more positive prospects for their future. The main actresses do a great job in their roles, the film has strong direction and sensitively perceives details. However, the plot is only a simple and non-dramatic character study that flows slowly and practically conflict-free to a subdued emotional finale (culminating in a long passage dedicated to the heroine's struggle with maternal feelings, which she refuses to admit but is eventually overcome by), the strength of which is somewhat diluted at the end of the film by the lengthy delay of the inevitable. English If any movie can be said to have a soul, the low key, intimate drama called Adam is certainly one of them. Apart from the story itself, the two main protagonists contribute to this to a great extent; you can see all the mental processes they are going through in their faces. The plot is not very vivid, but that doesn't matter in this case. The old adage that simplicity is beauty clearly applies here. This movie will probably appeal to women in particular, as feelings associated with maternal love are simply impossible for anyone else to feel properly. (90%) ()
