Plots(1)
A songstress accompanies the entire film with sung information on how a composer wrote a song and how it was then sung everywhere. Hašler's ditty "Ta naše krásná zem je jako pohádka" (This Beautiful Country of Ours is Like a Fairy Tale) is sung by a girl's trio, then it is played by a jazz band, street singers, a group of accordionists, a group of ukulele players, and eventually it attracts the interest of the film's director. He shoots it in a film studio with a full orchestra. The individual musical numbers are interspersed with shots of the countryside, the flowering of trees, and meadows. (Národní filmový archiv)
