Dark Whispers Vol. 1

An interconnected series of horror shorts, created by eleven female directors, follow Clara, a young woman who inherits her mother’s Book of Dark Whispers. As Clara delves into the book, the tales seem to take over her mind. Each story reveals a new facet of the human psyche, sometimes through some not-so-human characters. Some stories such as ‘Birthday Girl’ and ‘Storytime’ are sweet but tragic, yet others show the nasty side of the human mind or deal with its fragility. ‘Gloomy Valentine’ is a stop-motion animated film of heartbreak. ‘Grillz’ and ‘Little Sharehouse of Horrors’ are classic horror stories.
