English From a genre perspective, the film practically doesn't work as a horror at all. It could be accepted as a weaker thriller with fairly ambitious acting performances. Unfortunately, it is dragged down by a terrifyingly unprofessional screenplay and impotent direction. If the studio was counting on Kim Basinger, it was a mistake because - at least judging by this film - she has had her best days. Since effort alone is not enough, the overall rating is at a mere 25%. ()
