This second sequel to A Nightmare on Elm Street features the return of Nancy Thompson (Heather Langenkamp) from the first film, now a psychiatric doctor. Nancy teams up with Dr. Neil Goldman when a group of teenagers at his hospital begin to suffer a shared nightmare, and soon realizes that child murderer Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund) has returned to continue wreaking his revenge on the descendants of those who killed him.
