Fragment

Scientists set out into the countryside and allow it to gradually absorb them, thus becoming a part of its complex mosaic. Together with the landscape, they are dissolved and fermented in a film emulsion. Fragment travels through Macha's region three metres below ground, through the Ice Age. It explores the taiga, that big sleeping animal. Eternal. Unconquerable. Unchanging and dull. (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
