Hale and Toomey are two American fugitives who high-tail down to Brazil to dig for diamonds. The boys get lonely pretty darn quick and send away to the States for mail-order brides. When the prettier one, Mackaill, falls for Toomey, Hale gets a bit nasty and kills a native out of frustration. Eventually he gets his just deserts, and Toomey gets the girl. The performances of Mackaill, a silent film star, and Mary Kornman, formerly of "Our Gang," stand out. (official distributor synopsis)
