First Love

Thirteen-year-old Astrid lives in a small village in the middle of Norway. With her friend Mai-Åse, she shares a passion for A1, a popular boyband. Astrid’s bedroom walls are filled with posters of the four band members: Mark, Ben, Christian and Paul. The two friends know nearly all the lyrics by heart and have also practised the dance steps. So they are well prepared for the big day, which will arrive when they are allowed to go to an A1 concert. Well in advance, they are already nervous. During the concert, they scream their heads off. Astrid is afraid she will faint when one of the band members looks at her. (International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam)
