A lot of men around can hardly wait for the ageing professor Andorka's departure to a conference abroad. At once, the colleagues, the director, and other more distant acquaintances start wooing the attractive, but faithful wife. Unfortunately, it turns out soon that everybody who pays amorous attention to her and gets refused, suffers some kind of fatal accident afterwards. Óbori, the director falls off from high above, the popular football player is knocked down by a deadly shot, the sculptor is also taken to the cemetery by a hearse. Éva gets fed up ultimately with the ever growing sad list and makes an exception with the pilot. Of course, she only does it for her husband's sake. (official distributor synopsis)
