He inherited land that had been unmaintained and overgrown for years. Horses grazed there initially. The following year a group of enthusiasts created seedbeds and invited others to join them in digging and planting the soil. For those who live in apartments or don’t have a garden, it’s a wonderful opportunity to cultivate their own vegetables. Meeting others, sharing and spending time together is also a bonus for everybody. Take a look at the first steps of Pastvina, a freshly created community garden on the outskirts of Prague. (Ekofilm)
