De man en de vis

A man, a mysterious woman in blue, a fish, a deal. Suddenly, the streets and alleys of Amsterdam change into the backdrop of an obsession. Absorbed in a phone call about the purchase of a rare fish, a man walks along a plain Amsterdam canal. Until he accidentally catches the eye of a woman whose appearance instantly enthrals him. While he follows her, he loses sight of reality. Woman and fish begin to merge in the soap bubble of his imagination. Something must bring him to his senses. Shot around the almost deserted Amsterdam red-light district during the last days of the Covid lockdown, before the bars reopened. (Nederlands Film Festival)
