Netflix is starting this year quite promisingly with the adaptation of the legendary thief Lupin, brilliantly portrayed by Omar Sy. The opening heist at the Louvre is absolutely perfect, and it's a bit disappointing that the series doesn't stick to that style. Instead, it focuses on investigation and pursuit of the truth. But as a crime drama, it works decently well. Omar Sy brilliantly outsmarts the police and handles everything with ease. The show is fast-paced, entertaining, and smart. There are allegedly two more episodes to come, which are currently unavailable, so hopefully they will be released soon. Story****, Action>No, Humor**, Violence>No, Entertainment****, Music***, Visuals****, Atmosphere****, Tension****. 7.5/10.
