Een verre reis

Silent movie about a pathologically timid, lonely, young bookseller who one day finds out he is spontaneously losing parts of his body. The hospital introduces him to a partner in adversity. Together, they decide to travel to an Asian steppe, the only place where the plant grows that can cure their extremely rare disease. (Nederlands Film Festival)
