`Türchen öffne dich', it says on the door that is opened by a singer (Andrea Emonds), who lets us into her life. Without comment, her daily routine is revealed to us, in many strong close-ups. Waking up, breakfast, stretching exercises, coffee; a door, a glass, up to unrecognisable close-ups of light and shadow. The singer practises her voice, and sings. (Nederlands Film Festival)
