Soar (2014)

English A cute and simply presented story with decent animation that offers one screenwriting surprise at the end, though it does lack emotion.

Exode (2014)

English Exode offers very decent audiovisuals – the sound and the look of the giant creature were really well done, and I was also impressed by the minimalistic and raw appearance of the people. Story-wise, it's it’s not hard to guess where this biblically-themed one-shot is going, but it's still a solid experience.

Pour 585 (2018)

English Pour 585 is a dystopian short with the scent of red wine, which, despite the absence of colour, delivers a quite colourful message about the fact that it is sometimes profitable to defy a fixed system.

Tiki Time (2018)

English A Hawaiian version of Toy Story, but one that doesn't communicate anything, or try to be funny or suspenseful. It captivates mainly because of its setting and exotic musical score.

Bruised (2019)

English The charm of Bruised lies in its simple but sincere concept. Who's ever seen a personified bruise? Still, I felt it lacked a little something.

Preheated (2019)

English Preheated has an interesting premise that could have been perhaps fleshed out a bit more humorously, but so be it. The animation is a bit weaker, but at the same time it doesn't offend. I just wonder if the boy will always have that "hot" touch!

Material Girl (2019)

English Inspiration is fine as long as it's not imitation. The important thing is to always be yourself and be happy with yourself. Material Girl is an example of that. A simple story and decent animation.

Wings (2019)

English There is beauty in simplicity and sincerity, as evidenced by the animated short Wings. A lovely story about pure friendship, which, in addition to the excellent animation, also offers a nice music score.

Alike (2015)

English In Alike, naive and playful childhood clashes with sober adulthood, and this short film tries to emphasize in a subtle but likeable way that sometimes it's nice to get out of the grey rut and give life a different shade. Honest, concise and sweetly presented!

Hollywood (2020) (series)

English If it wasn't for Tarantino's last year's film, this miniseries could have been called Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, because it's essentially a fairytale version of the (somewhat alternatively conceived) cradle of cinema, and therefore should be taken with a grain of salt. It's not surprising that the creators of Glee are behind the script, as the two projects are similar in many ways – well, except for the rating. Regardless of gender, skin colour or sexual orientation, you should always follow your dream and not be discouraged by obstacles and negative influences. On the one hand, Hollywood is very naive, at times overly positive and even sunny, but on the other hand, you can feel the criticism of a world that, despite the constant spotlight, hides a dark hatred towards people who are simply "different". Among the cast, I would like to highlight especially Jim Parsons, whose ambiguous character was indeed a real challenge, and it is also worth mentioning the uncompromising Patti LuPone and the timid Jake Picking. Dreamland is waiting for you! P.S. I would have been more comfortable with Octavia Spencer as Hattie McDaniel.
