Asterix and the Vikings (2006)

English This is definitely not one of the best Asterix adventures that have been adapted into an animated film, but it is still much better than the live-action version. However, it is a bit too cliché and not funny enough to truly be a film that deserves so much attention. The older ones are definitely funnier and more entertaining.

Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow (2008)

English It probably doesn't make much sense to dwell on the nonsensical Czech translation, but what can you do. This is quite a good appetizer, where you appreciate mainly the fact that you can recognize parents in their children. And if you don't know the classic Avengers, you might also enjoy it. But definitely not as much.

Batman (1989)

English I have to say that that film doesn't make as much of an impression on me anymore as it did when I was a child. I thought it was much darker back then. That's why it's better to watch Burton's films as a child. They have a much stronger impact on you then. But that doesn't change the fact that Jack Nicholson is still excellent and this Batman adaptation has nothing to be ashamed of.

50 First Dates (2004)

English I simply like Adam Sandler and, as one of the few actors, he is capable of playing in a romantic comedy and being funny at the same time. This is a comedy that has an idea, an interesting story, and great characters, not only those in the main roles. Surprisingly, I liked this film even more after watching it for the second time.

Cathy and the Ghosts (1992)

English I don't have the same connection to this piece as I do to the first one, I mean, I didn't see it as a child, I think I somehow missed it. But it is still such a beautiful fairy tale that I can't help but like it. The story has a nice closure here.

Faces of Death 4 (1990)

English I'll admit that I don't really know why to watch this, maybe just to see the whole series. If you have already seen the previous films, you won't be surprised much. Some scenes will shock you, after all, death so close, even if recorded, is shocking, horrifying, and unpleasant. This is probably the only aspect that the creators succeeded in. Otherwise, it's really a big weakness, and the controversy itself won't help here anymore.

The Philadelphia Experiment (2012) (TV movie)

English Another relatively ordinary inspiration filmed by the Philadelphia Experiment just to make it interesting, to include something from real history. I guess I'll really have to find some document that focuses on this topic because no movie has brought me what I wanted so far. Some mysterious drama. Just action all the time. But this is also quite average.

The Grandmaster (2013)

English Visually beautiful, the fights here are interesting and I think the film holds quite well to reality, although it stylizes everything. This is a film that will truly be enjoyed the most by those who appreciate the Asian way of life and love martial arts films. This is truly about art and it is presented as such. Beautiful combat, but it is not so spontaneous. After all, it mainly focuses on visual impressions and whether you appreciate the depth that exists in the life of someone who practices martial arts.

Philadelphia Experiment II (1993)

English Building a weak fairy tale on the Philadelphia Experiment simply doesn't work. It's just a story about a changed past and a completely new development on Earth. To make it cool, Nazis are added to the mix, but otherwise, it's like an episode of some overcooked TV series. A happy ending is then obvious.

Rust and Bone (2012)

English A very strong and yet seemingly ordinary story at first glance. A pair of very incompatible people come together based on circumstances that are definitely not favorable. Nevertheless, a strong bond can form between them, which will help both of them. The complexity of human relationships knows no limits.
