Billions - Ball in Hand (2017) (episode)

English It ends as expected, the same way as the first season: the final conversation of two of the main characters, which essentially frames and sums up the entire season. Based on this outcome, the third season should offer a much broader narrative scope and grittier off-the-grid clashes. We’ll see.

Billions - Golden Frog Time (2017) (episode)

English The most polished and scripted episode of the entire series so far, though not the strongest emotionally. Ice-Juice showdown.

Billions - With or Without You (2017) (episode)

English Axe confessing his inner feelings and troubles, problems in his marriage and revealing his true nature. Only Taylor can soften that in an interrogation. Good stuff before the finale.

Billions - Sic Transit Imperium (2017) (episode)

English If Wags hadn't killed it with his fantastic speech at the party, from which the protagonist actually totally disappeared, this would have been a literally wasted episode.

Billions - Victory Lap (2017) (episode)

English Sandicot and everything around it. It could have been a lot faster, but then we wouldn’t have 12 episodes and a world of trouble. Even so, it will very likely lead to a death spiral of desperate maneuvers.

Billions - Indian Four (2017) (episode)

English Excellent procedural. A wild speculative deal that doesn't quite work out as it should and, above all, an excellent courtroom performance.

Billions - Currency (2017) (episode)

English The middle part of the second season is not entirely boring, but there are no great moments or twists, either. When both protagonists run out of ammunition, the story turns to a big business called Nigeria. Why not, it had an interesting twist in the end. But it will be far more interesting to watch the slow development of the marital problems of the other power couple – the Axelrods.

Billions - The Oath (2017) (episode)

English The reference to Blade Runner is the most memorable scene of the entire episode. Otherwise, it's a classic middle episode of a big puzzle that only slightly shapes the characters and sets everything up for a well-founded finish.

Billions - Optimal Play (2017) (episode)

English Pokor never disappoints, so there are plenty of exciting situations. Although it all seems too starched and "serial", it's still quite fun, as long as you don't take it too seriously.
