Once Upon a Time in the West (1968)

English This movie is simply a gem, which sucks you in and enchants you with its soundtrack, atmosphere, and individual performances. Even though it is well over two hours long, you do not get bored for a minute, and thanks to the truly amazing soundtrack, you experience everything to the fullest. Furthermore, Claudia Cardinale is probably the most beautiful woman I have ever seen on the screen, and especially in this movie, she is simply irresistible.

El Dorado (1966)

English "She had big sad eyes and a long sad story..." I kept wondering where I got that phrase, which I like to use sometimes, and where I heard it. Now I finally know where it came from! I used to have this movie on VHS with Czech dubbing, and I liked it a lot even back then. It is a great western with a perfect cast and brilliant jokes, pitting one lame man, one greenhorn, one drunken sheriff, and one old "Indian fighter" against a bunch of professional gunslingers. I watched it today in English with Czech subtitles, and the experience was maybe even a little better. 9/10.

The Magnificent Seven (1960)

English The Magnificent Seven has an amazing soundtrack. It also has a great cast, superb atmosphere, and great dialogues full of classic lines that can put a satisfied smile on the face of even the toughest guys. This is a movie that I love to watch anytime and to which I have a very strong attachment because it was my father’s favorite movie.

He Stood at the Till (1939)

English Personally, I think this is the best movie starring Vlasta Burian, and my favorite "movie for reminiscing" and whenever I see it on TV, I always watch it until the end and really enjoy it.

Matsumoto fragment (1907)

English For something that was probably made in 1907, Matsumoto fragment is actually a pretty good filmstrip.
