Orange Is the New Black - Trapped in an Elevator (2019) (episode)

English I quite enjoyed the plot of the sixth episode, I was not bored by the events in the prison or outside of it, but the most impressive achievement was how much screen time Joe Caputo was given, who became my clear favorite. Every interaction he has with Natalie Figueroa is hilarious.

Orange Is the New Black - Minority Deport (2019) (episode)

English I found the Diaz family's escapades particularly enjoyable this time around, and Aleida's explosive rage definitely grabbed my attention :-D Even the immigrant subplot had its moments. But leave it to Piper to spoil the fun by fully embracing her role as a complete moron.

Orange Is the New Black - How to Do Life (2019) (episode)

English It's intriguing how whenever Piper Chapman takes center stage, the episode seems to lose its charm, at least in my opinion. I found myself somewhat disappointed by this episode. The storyline just didn't capture my interest as much.

Orange Is the New Black - And Brown Is the New Orange (2019) (episode)

English This episode definitely earned a solid five stars from me because it ticked off several boxes on my wishlist. The return of the comedic-romantic duo Caputo and Figueroa brought a smile to my face, and watching Madison Murphy explore the charms of Missouri was pure joy. The infusion of humor was spot-on, and the immigrant storyline added a layer of compelling drama. Overall, I was thoroughly satisfied.

Orange Is the New Black - Just Desserts (2019) (episode)

English This episode was a delightful surprise for me. I found everything involving Artesian McCullough highly entertaining, and the auditions finally got me laughing. Although I was thrilled to see Maritza Ramos make a return, I couldn't help but miss Joe Caputo. Nevertheless, overall, I was quite satisfied with how things played out.

Orange Is the New Black - Beginning of the End (2019) (episode)

English I ran into a familiar issue from the previous season - the lack of humor. For someone who's seen better prison dramas, this was a bit disappointing. Plus, I've been growing increasingly annoyed with the character Madison Murphy. However, I have to admit, seeing her face get up close and personal with the floor was oddly satisfying.

Victoria - Season 3 (2019) (season)

English I realized this wasn’t a standard historical series in the very first season and I quickly got used to the fact. However, after a better second season, I was still expecting something slightly better. The third season wasn’t bad, but it was spoiled again by the annoying political correctness and the evil sister with a basketful of intrigue straight out of a soap opera.

Victoria - The White Elephant (2019) (episode)

English This episode did a great job of dialing back on the overflowing side storylines, yet it kept a good pace. I really enjoyed it, especially since I was looking forward to the world exhibition. Once again, the creators showed they know how to set the stage for the next season.

Victoria - A Public Inconvenience (2019) (episode)

English The tension around the Greek incident and Wellington's decision adds a solid political backdrop to this episode, but the real highlight is how Prince Albert's decisive action truly shaped history. I loved that the creators steered clear of unnecessary romanticism, keeping the focus sharp and impactful.

Victoria - A Coburg Quartet (2019) (episode)

English I enjoyed the sixth episode because it pretended to steer clear of politics, only to reveal that politics isn’t just about intimate connections at fancy balls. The only thing that bugged me was the overly dramatic evil character straight out of a soap opera. It feels like no one can get rid of her, and even if she died, she’d probably stick around Windsor as a poltergeist.
