Vikings - The Great Army (2017) (episode)
With each episode, I am increasingly surprised. The events in Kattegat were mostly boring in the fourth season, but now it is once again becoming the center of the most interesting events. Ivar is slowly but surely becoming an extremely interesting character, and I assume that he will be the focus of the next episodes.
Vikings - Crossings (2017) (episode)
I really don't understand why, if the creators are capable of creating episodes of such high quality within the fourth season, they hid it so perfectly. The last three episodes were very decent and I can't wrap my head around how it's possible that a part of the series was so uninteresting and even boring. I hope that the series will continue with the same level of quality.
Vikings - All His Angels (2016) (episode)
Vikings - In the Uncertain Hour Before the Morning (2016) (episode)
Vikings - Two Journeys (2016) (episode)
Vikings - The Vision (2016) (episode)
And it's here again. What was it about? Except for Bjorn and consortes sailing to Normandy and possibly further, and Ragnar and Ivar going to England, the story was terribly empty. It is clear that a double number of episodes per season is too much for the creators, instead of a quality story, we get some filler just to have something filmed.
Vikings - The Outsider (2016) (episode)
No, I thought about what the eleventh episode was actually about for quite a while. I would say that it was largely about nothing, only relationships were being resolved like in any other series, so I was only interested in the dark prophecy and unexpectedly also the character of Ivar, who seemed the most interesting to me out of everyone involved this time.
Doc Martin - Mother Knows Best (2011) (episode)
There has been an improvement compared to the previous episode, but it wasn't enough for a fourth star. It's just not the same anymore, and it annoys me how the creators of the series simplify their work by randomly introducing new characters to fill the episode. I think Doc Martin should have been appropriately concluded with the last series.
Vikings - The Last Ship (2016) (episode)
It was a shock, after the disappointing ninth episode, a fulfilling episode followed, which I enjoyed from beginning to end. The action scenes on the river were clearly successful, and I will pretend that I didn't notice the complete nonsense of the platforms that Ragnar's fleet was pushing in front of them, which obviously had no other meaning than to have a place to film a battle between a man and a woman. The Emperor's garottes pleased me, and surprisingly, I didn't mind the significant time jump.
Vikings - Death All 'Round (2016) (episode)
Okay, the creators really managed to push me to give the lowest rating so far. The ninth episode was really pointless. The whole time there were dragged-out scenes, the robbery scene was apparently only for diversity, I couldn't find any other meaning in it, but there were much more of these artificially drawn-out plotlines in this episode. Overall, it was boring.
