The Devil's Advocate (1997)

English Who would believe that after a slightly tired introduction, I would be so enthusiastic at the end? After each screening, I look forward to watching it again, already expecting that the beginning will seem better in the context of the rest of the story. It starts off so innocent, but that's when the biggest surprise comes, when the story starts to pick up pace and the atmosphere thickens to the point where you anticipate a fright with every shot. It's no wonder, director Hackford knows how to create very disturbing moments (a brilliant and dark sexual scene) and contrasting visual and sound inserts of mystery in innocent moments. However, it is difficult to judge how successful it would be without the actors. Reeves, in fact, delivers the best performance of his career and thanks to this film, Pacino has definitively become an incomparable acting chameleon.

Blue Velvet (1986)

English Romantic noir with tons of evidence that it's simply necessary to find your own way to Lynch. Sometimes it doesn't work out, other times it becomes an unforgettable experience. MacLachlan's naivety hand in hand with Isabella Rossellini's elusive aura created a spectacle that cannot be told, only experienced. For the highest rating, the crazy Dennis Hopper would have to slightly reduce his rocket-like temperament.

The Good Girl (2002)

English Mainly in the introduction, a melancholic and slightly hypnotic exploration into all the wounded and hopeless souls. It's a shame that over time, preference is given to dark humor more than ideal, and the characters, except for the perfect Holden, are still too archetypal and lead to the expected conclusion. 70%

Valiant (2005)

English A pleasant appetizer with an acceptably patriotic message, but unfortunately, also with half of the jokes falling into the category of vulgar humor. However, when I imagine the director's cut version, which lasts almost two hours, I feel a sense of dread.

Fight Club (1999)

English The most indigestible, but intellectually and thematically the most charged and perhaps the most seductive Fincher's film for someone. And after mature consideration, also my favorite. Anarchy, fights, and at times hopeless situations, depression, and despair. But above all, life in it! Living energy of all characters at any time of the day, night, or person at any time.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000) (series)

English For millions of American viewers, modern cult for fifteen long years, for me incomprehensible boredom. CSI plays the smart series, yet it remains a consistently humorous attempt at realistic crime. The paradox remains that compared to the Miami brotherhood, Las Vegas is still watchable, but for me, the Bruckheimer Crime Series has never found understanding.

Prime (2005)

English The fox Younger has probably experienced beautiful things in his life when he can show the desire of two people in such a nice way, precisely express the feelings that belong to those periods (the sudden feeling of falling in love, the pain of breakup when remembering a seemingly trivial thing) and, in addition, create a beautiful, realistic and emotionally stirring ending that makes me know that Prime won't easily disappear from my mind. Until then, he had worked with an above-average script that elevated the slightly predictable pattern of a potential mother-in-law and potential daughter-in-law relationship to a different level, where a series of obligatory clichés (a walk in a closed park, a dinner at a place that impresses the partner) don't bother at all, but in this case, they are very pleasant. Thanks to the divine Meryl, I often laughed, supported the sympathetic Greenberg, and longed for the beautiful Art. It's a shame that the movie couldn't go beyond the obligatory boundaries of frequent "I'm sorry" and "I'm not sure", otherwise it could have been worth five. The final scene is one of the most expressive and impressive romantic finishes thanks to the actors.

The Treasure of the Silver Lake (1962)

English Immediately after the classic trilogy, the best May festival, nevertheless the quality of Reinl's later works falls just short. The thought that this is "the first one" is, however, still perfectly magical to this day.

Out of Sight (1998)

English In detail, Ovoce is quite enjoyable because, for example, the long bonding scene of the main couple, which perfectly fits with the excellent soundtrack, feels intimate and fresh. However, Soderbergh traditionally loses himself in the whole, stumbling directly towards the goal and thus foreshadowing his period of alternating failures.

Scooby-Doo (2002)

English Quite inventive adaptation of a lovely series, but there were too many fecal gags. Fortunately, the female half of the cast still stands out even after years.
