Goodfellas (1990)
Gossip (2000)
Requiem for a Dream (2000)
Blood Work (2002)
A very unnecessary crime film in which a seventy-year-old Eastwood searches for an easily predictable killer with bulldog determination and even manages to acquire a partner many decades younger. I simply don't buy into this from the creators. Thankfully, Clint himself is behind the direction, so the pace hardly ever slackens, but everything is too predictable and visually surprisingly sterile.
La Chevre (1981)
Fantaghiró V (1996) (TV movie)
The greatest despair that brings shame to the elaborate fairy tales from the beginning of the series. The unsympathetic new man (??), occasional denial of previous episodes, and above all, tedious suffering, traditionally spread over two parts. For anyone who once loved Fantaghiro, let this comment be a warning. Under no circumstances should you watch the fifth part.
The Remains of the Day (1993)
The little things that touch, the gazes that see into the deepest corners of the soul, and the only gesture that is missing for the feeling of happiness. The perfect main duo of actors elevates Twilight of the Day to the most impressive heights, from where it is not pulled back even by the absence of a final climax.
A Lot Like Love (2005)
At the beginning, it is very pleasant, believable, and even personal, but over time, clichés emerge, the joke fades, and with it any specificity. And we are left with predictable romance that may bring a smile, but not a second viewing or sweet memories... But thanks to the nudity in the moonlight or the guitar, everything is forgiven up to a reconcilable 60%.
Love Actually (2003)
Those of you who would ever pay gold for just a pinch of good mood, I invite you all to pre-Christmas London. I have seen many performances and I can recite the lines by heart, but a while ago Curtis stole me away again, so I can't fully return to my thoughts. In Love Actually, everything is heavenly, and therefore there may be something that might not appeal to you. However, there is also so much amazingness in it that when I add up the shy guys, Hugh Grant and Colin Firth, the triumphant Bill Nighy, the unforgettable Keira Knightley, the discreet angel Rowan Atkinson, or the few seconds of magical cameo by Elisha Cuthbert, there is too much perfection in one movie. The best romantic comedy and one of my top 10.
