Eight Legged Freaks (2002)

English It wasn't bad, but as a horror movie (which it shouldn't have been) it wasn't scary enough and as a comedy it wasn't funny enough. But overall, I found it "not stupid enough". Still, it's watchable and pretty cool entertainment, but I was expecting something a little different, maybe a little more wacky.

Any Given Sunday (1999)

English I don't know anything about American football, but this movie really got me. I don't know how Oliver Stone managed to cram such a quality cast into one film. The script is also great, although it's not about American football per se, but rather the rottenness in the background. And the game sequences are some of the best action scenes I've ever seen.

Devil's Advocate (1997)

English A brilliant thriller with perfect performances, a very, very good script. You won't get up until the end.

Bicentennial Man (1999)

English A pretty good romance, but for the money it cost, I would have expected something much better.

Fathers' Day (1997)

English Compared to the French original, this is nothing. You laugh a few times and have a relatively decent time (thanks to the great actors), but compared to the original it's really weak.

Jack (1996)

English A slightly above average comedy that has its good moments, but also its bad ones. And unfortunately the bad ones are quite prevalent.

Mrs. Doubtfire (1993)

English Robin Williams, in one of his best roles, proves that he is rightfully one of the best comedians. The thoughtful yet funny script, along with Williams, make this feel-good comedy a classic.

Shakespeare in Love (1998)

English A perfect comedy that is sure to entertain even after several viewings. Gwyneth Paltrow and Geoffrey Rush are great, but above all the film doesn't pretend to be anything "big". It's just terribly enjoyable.

Armageddon (1998)

English This film requires you to turn off your brain and enjoy the skillfully shot action, the good visual effects and the classic pathos. Simple, dumb, but fun.

Boiler Room (2000)

English Even though I don't know the world of financial transactions and I didn't understand 90% of the technical terms, I had a lot of fun.
