Biography

Daniel Moshel was born in 1976 in Offenbach, Germany. During his multi media studies he directed his first fictional short film called komA, which was shown on TV and screened at several film festivals. In 2003 he founded the production company Moshel Film, with which he has made several award-winning sports documentaries, image and advertising films. In 2009 he produced the short film Der Doppelgaenger (director: Stephanie Winter), which obtained the 'Excellence Award' of the Short Film Festival in Busan (South Korea). Login2Life (2011) was his first feature length documentary. After the premiere on the German ZDF broadcast station, and a successful festival circuit, Login2Life was sold to multiple TV stations. The recent project Metube three months after the web release had already more than 800 thousand views on YouTube, was shown on three French TV networks, has participated at more than 50 festivals and screenings and has won a dozen awards. He is one of 4 directors creating the 2014 ZDF TV-show named House of Love.
