Laura Huertas Millan

Biography

Laura Huertas Millán is a Colombian-French artist and filmmaker. A graduate from Paris’ Fine Arts School and the Fresnoy, she did a PhD in ethnographic fiction from the PSL University and the Sensory Ethnography Lab (Harvard). Her films have screened at museums like London’s ICA, the Centre Pompidou and the Jeu de Paume in Paris. Selected for such festivals as Toronto, Cinéma du Réel, Torino, Cartagena or Havana, her works won awards at Locarno, FIDMarseille and Doclisboa. Her films include El laberinto, La libertad, Black Sun and Aequador.
