Biography
1937-1999. Born in Guangzhou and educated in Taiwan, he debuted as a filmmaker in Hong Kong co-directing Love Song Over the Sea (1970). His filmography, almost completely linked to the Shaw Brothers production company, includes titles like The Tea House (1974), Big Brother Cheng (1975) and The Criminals (1976-77) and Hex (1980-82) series.
