Biography (1)
Myroslav Slaboshpytskiy (b. 1974), a native of Kiev, studied directing at the Kiev State Institute of Theatre and Arts, and worked at film studios in Kiev and St. Petersburg. His short films Diagnosis (2009) and Deafness (2010) were shown at the Berlinale. Another short film, Nuclear Waste (2012), won the Silver Leopard in Locarno and was nominated for a European Film Academy award.
