Biography (1)
Eric Bress partnered with J. Mackye Gruber in 1994 to write screenplays full time. In 1997, they produced, wrote and directed "Blunt," an indie feature that was named Best Comedy at the 1998 New York Independent Film and Video Festival and was a selection of the New Orleans Film Festival. Bress's big break came in 1999 when he sold a television pilot to ABC called "KYLE XY." It would take another seven years for the show to actually air on ABC Family, but soon… (more)
