Nele Wohlatz is a director and screenwriter. She studied Scenography at the Karlsruhe University of Art and Design and participated in the Film Laboratory at Universidad Di Tella. In Argentina, she made the shorts La mochila perfecta and Tres oraciones sobre la Argentina and co-directed Ricardo Bär. Her first feature, The Future Perfect, was screened at more than seventy international festivals and won numerous awards, such as the Golden Leopard for Best First Feature at Locarno. Her films explore the boundaries between language and cinematographic language, documentary and fiction.
