Biography

Belongs to the so called “new Spanish auteur cinema”. Her work has been extensively shown at international festivals and Museums and Contemporary Art Centers. In 2008 she received several awards for her film Lo que tú dices que soy. Her first feature film, El jurado (2012), premiered at FID Marseille. In 2014 she directed her second feature film, La décima carta, premiered at the San Sebastian Film Festival and nominated for the José María Forqué awards. In 2018, Improvisaciones de una ardilla won the “Biznaga de plata” at the Malaga Film Festival for best documentary short film. Respirar, correr, mirar (2018) is a video installation that has been shown at Bombas Gens, Tabakalera, Centro Montehermoso and at the FICX’s latest edition.
