Biography

First Mexican to appear three consecutive years in the National Top 10 with his films I Don’t Know Whether to Slit My Wrists or Leave Them Long, Love of My Loves, Elvira I Will Give You My Life But I’m Using It. In 2018 he made the Netflix series The House of Flowers, which became the most watched series in Mexico and the seventh with the highest rating in Latin America. Manolo signed an exclusivity contract with Netflix for the creation of new content, including a period miniserie of three chapters, Someone Has to Die, the musical project Once Upon a Time... But Not Anymore and his production Sagrada Familia. In 2018, he directed the remake of the famous Italian film Perfetti sconosciutti, in Mexico, Perfect Strangers, placing in the Top 3 National in its premiere week.
