Biography (1)
Born on May 22, 1960 in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Anno worked as a key animator in Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984) for the giant god warrior scene. He earned legions of fans with his massive hit, "Evangelion" (1995). He established khara, Inc. in 2006, which produced The Rebuild of Evangelion series with Anno serving as original author, scriptwriter, executive director, and executive producer.
