Chris Clark

Biography

Chris Clark started his career with producers Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner at Working Title Films' London base, as an executive working on development and production of the company's slate.
In 2007, he set up the production company RedRum Films in Los Angeles. The first movies he made at RedRum were And Soon the Darkness, for Studio Canal, which was director Marcos Efron's update of the 1970 suspense thriller of the same name; and Marc Evans' drama Patagonia, starring Matthew Rhys and Marta Lubos.
Mr. Clark is also a partner in London-based Reprisal Films, through which he produced John Michael McDonagh's The Guard, starring Brendan Gleeson and Don Cheadle. The offbeat law enforcement tale became a worldwide sleeper. Its accolades included a BAFTA Award nomination for Mr. McDonagh's screenplay; a Golden Globe Award nomination for Mr. Gleeson; the Evening Standard British Film Awards' Peter Sellers Award for Comedy, for Mr. McDonagh; and four Irish Film and Television (IFTA) Awards, including one for Best Film, which he shared with his fellow producers.
He has reteamed with Mr. McDonagh as producer of the writer/director's soon-to-be-released drama Cavalry, starring Mr. Gleeson, Kelly Reilly, and Chris O'Dowd.
Prior to making Closed Circuit, Mr. Clark reunited with Working Title to produce Oliver Parker's Johnny English Reborn, starring Rowan Atkinson.
