Jean-Pascal Strüwer

Born in 1977 in Stockholm Sweden. Jean-Pascal Strüwer started to work with film through his interest in skateboarding. He has directed several programs for Swedish television and films for different skateboarding companies in Europe and USA.

Strüwer has studied at The Department of Cinema Studies at the Stockholm University. He has assisted acclaimed commercial directors Tomas Jonsgården, Jörgen Lööf and Fredrik Bond. He has also worked as an Assistant Director to Stefan Larsson at The Royal Dramatic Theatre of Stockholm on Sam Shepard's play The Buried Child. Several feature films as Second Assistant Director are also on his credits.

Strüwer has aside from his skateboarding films directed a music video for Swedish hip hop star Petter, behind the scenes films, commercials and art films.
