Adams has appeared in the television series Soul Food, Jonovision, Street Time and the television movies Blackout, Mercy of a Stranger and Dear America. On stage, she has starred in Anne of Green Gables, Grease and Bye Bye Birdie.Despite all that time in front of a camera, she was excited about working with two-time Golden Globe winner Miranda Richardson.
