Biography

Having captured the attention of audiences and industry executives alike with his undeniable on-screen presence in a string of supporting roles, Paul Walker found his breakout role as undercover cop Brian O‟Conner in the 2001 hit film, The Fast and The Furious. Since then, Walker cemented his leap to leading man status in a variety of box-office films, dramatic roles and producer credits.

Walker starred in the suspense-thriller Hours, where he portrayed a father facing life and death decisions while struggling to keep his newborn alive in post Hurricane Katrina ravaged New Orleans. Hours was received very well received by critics, giving Walker some of the best reviews of his career. Walker also starred in and Executive produced the film Vehicle 19. Shot in Cape Town, South Africa, this thriller was adapted from the 2010 Black List of best unproduced screenplays.

In the summer of 2013 Walker reprised his role as Undercover Cop Brian O‟Conner in Fast Six with Vin Diesel. Already regarded as one of Hollywood‟s most lucrative film franchises, the release of the 5th installment was the biggest movie opening of 2011 to date receiving $86.2 million domestically with equal success internationally. The film was also the highest weekend opening for Universal (beating Jurassic Park). Walker was filming the newest installment for the Fast Franchise, Fast & Furious 7 before tragically passing away in a car accident in late-November 2013.

Walker was seen in the Screen Gems crime action film Takers as a bank robber alongside Matt Dillon and Hayden Christenson. The film also grossed # 1 at the box office and maintained high numbers after opening weekend. Walker displayed his versatility transforming on-screen into a soldier under the direction of Clint Eastwood in Flags of Our Fathers, an Arctic research scientist in the Disney family adventure Eight Below, and as diver who finds himself in deep trouble with a drug lord after they come upon the illicit cargo of a sunken airplane in "Into the Blue."

Additional film credits include: Pleasantville, Varsity Blues, She's All That, Joy Ride and The Skulls  to name a few.

Paul was also the founder of a non-profit organization, Reach Out Worldwide (ROWW), a quick response organization aiding in the rescue and recovery process immediately after a natural disaster occurs.
