Biography
Maria Bäck, born 1980 in Sweden, graduated from The National Film School of Denmark in 2013. With a background in poetry writing, dance and photography, she has directed artistic documentaries, shown at international film festivals around the world, as well as programs for Danish Television.
She was the winner of Nordic Talents 2013. Her graduation film Mother is God, was nominated for Robert Prisen 2014 – and won as Best International Short Film at It's All True Film Festival in Brazil.
